Let Us Adore Him (12.24.17)

 Philippians 2:5-11
[5] Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: [6] Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: [7] But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: [8] And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. [9] Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: [10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; [11] And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Jesus’ name has been exalted and is worthy of adoration.

Acts 2:36-39

You can’t get to a place so low, or a place so high, that the name of Jesus can’t save.

God has exalted the name of Jesus!!

John 14:13

2 Chronicles 20:9

Luke 12:8

Acts 4:12

The name of Jesus gets angelic attention.

Hebrews 1:4-6

Adoration and worship are the only right responses for what God has done through Jesus.

Psalm 34:1-3

Psalm 51:12
[12] Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Don’t loose the joy of your salvation.

Psalm 51:17
[17] The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

At no point will God despise a broken and contrite heart.
