Sent: P.2 (11.29.17)

Luke 10:1,17
[1] After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. [17] And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

You are a purpose with a name!

Jesus sent out representatives to go where he would go and do what he would do…not replace Him but represent Him.

Luke 10:17-20
[17] And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. [18] And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. [19] Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. [20] Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Luke 15:7
[7] I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Heaven gets excited about souls turning to God

1 Kings 3:7
[7] And now, O Lord my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.

Deuteronomy 31:1-2
[1] And Moses went and spake these words unto all Israel. [2] And he said unto them, I am an hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: also the Lord hath said unto me, Thou shalt not go over this Jordan.

Joshua 14:11
[11] As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.

God has given us everything we need to be effective in going out and coming in.

Luke 14:16-24,33
[16] Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: [17] And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. [18] And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. [19] And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. [20] And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come. [21] So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. [22] And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. [23] And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. [24] For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper. [33] So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

The Lord is not satisfied when His house is not filled…

Romans 11…fullness of the time

It’s not about filling the church…it’s about adding to the kingdom and advancing the Kingdom.

Excellence and success is not measured by how you compare and compete with those around you.

People in your life are watching you go out and come in…

David became king in their heart, before he became king on their thrown.

Rules without relationship lead to rebellion..

1 Samuel 18:12-16
[12] And Saul was afraid of David, because the Lord was with him, and was departed from Saul. [13] Therefore Saul removed him from him, and made him his captain over a thousand; and he went out and came in before the people. [14] And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the Lord was with him. [15] Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was afraid of him. [16] But all Israel and Judah loved David, because he went out and came in before them.

2 Samuel 11:1-2
[1] And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle , that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem. [2] And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king’s house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon.

David wouldn’t have fallen into sin if he had gone out right.
