Praying the Names of God: P.8 (1.23.19)

1 Corinthians 2:9-10
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Developing faith in the Names Of God and applying that faith in prayer.

Jehovah – revealing God
When God would reveal himself in different ways, the characteristic that was revealed would be attached to Jehova.

1 Corinthians 2:11-12
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

God has prepared and stored things up for us that we are not even aware of. Every day God has made preparation for you that He expects and wants you to receive. He has even made preparation for you that has not even entered into your heart.

Being that He has prepared it, He expects and wants us to receive it. However, it can only be shown to us by His Spirit as noted in 2 Corinthians 2:10.

There are things that God has for you that only can be revealed by His Spirit.

God wants to be the one that provides and is the source of everything we could want or need.

1 Corinthians 2:13-14
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them , because they are spiritually discerned.

We pray to the father
We pray in the name of Jesus
He moves by His Spirit.

Revelation 2:7,11,17,29
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Revelation 3:6,13,22
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Be in expectation that God will speak, that He will give direction, answer, and bring His Word to pass.

Revelation 22:17
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

We should make every facet of our lives a prepared place to hear from God.

Ephesians 5:14,16-19
Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is . And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
